This morning we were lucky and found a mother cheetah with her two clubs before sunrise. The cheetahs usually wait until the sun has risen and only come out of their hiding place when it is a little warmer. But these ones were early, probably because the mother was preparing for the hunt. When the sun rose, the two of them frolicked across the wide plain until they found this tree and, of course, couldn't resist climbing it. The photo was taken when one of the cubs spotted our vehicle and looked over at us curiously.
