The encounter with this stonefish was really something special! After a very long dive in which there was almost nothing major to see, we made our way back and crossed a larger area of ​​sand. On the edge of this sandy area, I discovered this stonefish that was about to crawl down from a steep wall onto the sand. To achieve the flattest possible angle for the photo, I lay down on the sandy area in front of the stonefish. The stonefish seemed very interested in me because it slowly began to crawl towards me so that after a short time I found myself crawling backwards, otherwise he would have collided with me. This procedure continued over the entire sandy area until I reached a rock face on the other side and had to leave the sandy bottom. The encounter took over 15 minutes and this special picture was taken.
