I have seen mongoose many times in Africa. Most of the time they were out in the deep grass or the environment was just very messy. But here a group of mongooses were playing on a large, long dead tree stump that had a very nice surface structure. The tree lay on a wide, flat grassy plain, which I found beneficial as an abstract background. I didn't miss this opportunity to take a nice portrait of one of these little friends.
